About Us E&D has been serving the publishing, printing and graphic arts community since 1979. We are a digital imaging service bureau with a "can do" attitude, Macintosh, Windows/PC-DOS and Postscript literate. Our very knowledgeable staff has helped many clients (and even a few competitors) through complex jobs and tough deadlines. We have a 24-hour BBS and FTP site. We provide high-resolution digital imaging and typesetting to film or resin coated (RC) paper, up to 18" wide color separations, as well as medium- and high-resolution large format full-color inkjet printing up to 60" wide. Color overlay and laminate composite proofs are done out-of-shop. We have in-house Digital Camera Services featuring an Agfa StudioCam with 4500x3648 pixel tri-linear color CCD and Nikon 35-80mm zoom lens for high resolution, sharp images for both product shots and flat art up to 35" x 48" in size. We also offer, on a daily rental basis, a Casio QV5000-SX digital camera with 1280x960 pixel CCD for high resolution small format photos ... and 8Mb memory for 360° Panorama and mini-Movie features. In-house scanning ... Our Agfa and Polaroid high resolution reflective and slide/transparancy scanners can handle flat art and photos, color or black/white, up to 11 x 17 inches, 35 mm slides, and transparencies up to 5 x 7 inches. Scans may be saved in Macintosh or PC format on almost any media: CD, Zip, Jaz, SyQuest, Bernoulli, Optical, etc. Other services include media and/or file conversion to/from PC/Mac, Iomega ZIP and JAZ, Syquest, Bernoulli, 128-230Mb optical disks, Colorado and DAT tapes, CD-R production for data archiving, electronic catalogs and multimedia premasters; art/photo/slide scanning for color, grayscale or line-art imaging.
